Our Partnership with the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation
The Pottawattamie County Community Foundation (PCCF) is a tax-exempt public charity, 501(c)(3), that serves those who share a common interest in improving the quality of life in Pottawattamie County, Iowa.
Through the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation, individuals, families, businesses, and organizations can create permanent charitable funds that help their region meet the challenges of changing times. PCCF invests and administers these charitable funds, such as the Southwest Iowa Educational Foundation, Inc.’s own endowment called the “Southwest Iowa Educational Foundation, Inc. Fund”.

Endow Iowa Tax Credit
Since PCCF is a qualified community foundation and meets national standards, donors who are Iowa tax payers can receive 25% of their donation in the form of a state tax credit by establishing or giving to an existing qualified endowment; more specifically to support a new SWIEF scholarship.
